What a great chicken place! I was traveling through and stopped here and I'm so glad I did! The staff are the SWEETEST people EVER! The place was immaculately clean and the food was delicious! I got WAY more than I could eat! Go here to eat if you want to be spoiled!
Drive through was backed up so we went in to eat. We ordered 3 pc thighs with side. Cost us $25! Chicken was fresh but they serve it on those thin styrofoam plates that are really flimsy! Plus chicken was sooo greasy. Wow felt like u was wearing the chicken. Cashier was friendly, building & bathroom clean. Only thing was bathroom door handle about to fall off. Only issues were plates, greasy handle falling off. Would recommend eating there.
Got a 2 piece fish with okra and mashed potatoes and it was fresh and hot. If I was in town longer I'd be back.
The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly. While the chicken itself lacks the spice of other chicken joints, it makes up for with the overall quality of the chicken. The breading is crisp, the meat is juicy and tender. And the food is always hot when it comes out. And they're not stingy with portions size, either. One serving of fried okra takes up one third of the plate. You definitely get your money's worth. Overall, highly recommend.
I've never had a problem here. Spicy strips, fried pickles, jalepeño ranch are my go-to choices.
